Using scrap pipe, I built a DIY welding stand which will allow me to practice vertical, horizontal, and overhead welds, as well as welding pipe. I used my Millermatic 211 MIG welder, but for beginners, I recommend an inexpensive wire-fed welder. I used Anchorlube for cutting metal with my metal band saw and for drilling into metal pipe. Putting Tractor Bucket Forks to the Test | Yanmar SA 425 | Logs, Rocks and Scrap
Hi. Amazing video. Quick question: We just bought an old house and have been finding all sorts of weird circuits. In one room where we are changing out an old ceiling fan there is only a hot and neutral in the ceiling . When I removed the wall switch the hot to the ceiling fan, black wire is still hot. It’s a constant hot tied in to another circuit with some wall outlets. Any idea how a wall switch control a ceiling fan with a constant hot? I’m totally confused. Thanks in advance.
Im buying one now. I actually do mostly woodworking, but having a straight drill set up that will sit flat on the surface of large projects and moves easily is invaluable. The 3 or 4 times a year I need to get through metal will be a bonus.
Great video, thanks
I use two chains on my bolt on forks around my bucket…..I don’t weld, so my option keeps the forks secure and allows me to change the width of the forks if needed.
Great explanations! Thank you!
Thank you, it's videos like this that gives guys like me that don't have much experience but want to give things a try more confidence, I have a whole playlist download with videos like this to help me when I own a house. I appreciate you.
Hey thanks for the video, I didnt even know that was a thing. Seems like you could cure a lot of the issues you had with welding the center bar to the forks. Yeah you would lose adjustability but it would likely be way more stable. Thanks again
Great video. Great explaining.
You have explained it to someone who has no clue about electricity. I now have an idea how it works. Thank you for your slow explained teaching because everyone is not a fast learner.
I had the same problem so what I did is move the center support to the inside of the forks(adds more room in the front)and welded it in place because I don’t plan on changing width and also welding center of support where screw is.I also welded hooks on upper side of bucket so I can strap it to make it even more secure.
I'm about to get into electrical work thanks this helped a lot
Thank you for that. You’re definitely one of the BEST on YT for explaining. Thanks
Thank you for the very educational video my guy! Love it!
I love how you explain the theory from the ground up so we understand what we're measuring when using these tools and these are not just a simple tool recommendations
Thanks! This was the most and best explanation Barney style that I understood?
Thank you for sharing this information!!! You really break it down for a beginner to understand.
wow this video is so easy to understand, thank you
For polarity isn’t it white on the large socket or left screw, and back on that small/right side?
Yes.
Thank you! This is a very helpful and foundational info. Appreciate your honestly and clarity
This is the best explanation I've seen on a circuit.
Are there any installers in Virginia that are looking for quick side money? I need a garage door added to mine.
Is it reversible in the sense of if you wanted to slide on the opposite side from what the picture shows?
No, not set up for that.
Thank you. I have learnt more from a well organized 23.39 minute presentation than expensive 3 semesters in physics class
Thanks for the video! How tall are you and can you comfortably walk under the swing bar? We have a tight yard and looking to span it over a low-traffic walkway and just clip in 1 swing.
I am 5 foot 11 inches tall and I just barely fit under the bar.
The Declaration of Independence? I'm assuming that was a joke.
Yes.
This video is golden. You made it so simple and easy to understand.
You teaching abilities are amazing!!!!!!! You broke it on down to kindergarden level
how tall and wide is the slide part?
The slide is 10 and a half inches wide and where a child would sit at the top is about 34 inches tall.
I like how you mixed the diagram with actual components, it makes it so an idiot like me understands it better. Thanks!
Great, simple and clear! Good Job, my friend!
The man has an "air compressor room". This man is my kind of man.
I told my wife I wanted to have a 3 way in the bedroom, she started googling divorce attorneys.
This has been super helpful, especially for the 3-way switch. Thank you so much for creating and teaching.
Thank you, brother 🙏.
your videos have been very helpful for my metal garage lighting project. thanks again
I don’t think I’ve identified more with any statement than “shop anger issues” lololol. Just picked these up and will probably do this soon! Thanks again!
How many outlets/lights can share/be on a breaker? How do you determine the size breaker to use?
My video on designing circuits explains all of this.
But very helpful thank you
I subscribed I recommend doing a what not to do and what to do when it comes to hooking it up
Best video on electrical basics. You're a natural teacher. Greatly appreciate your efforts to share!
What if my outlet had constant power? What do I do then?
Do you mean the outlet has constant power and you want to use it to power a switch?
@@brettleybuilt yes I wired the outlet correctly and its suppose to be operated by a switch to go on and off. Unfortunately when the switch is off at the wall, the outlet is still on causing my disposal to run when it’s suppose to be off. What am I missing? Am I suppose to break that tab off the outlet where the disposal is plugged into?
Great elementary instruction! Just what "I" need in my journey of leaning how to connect my solar inverter on the AC side. I'd like to know what the electrician is doing AS he is doing it. Now I just need to hire someone. Do you have a video on how to install a small sub panel box?
I don't. I probably should do one in the future.
Very helpful- I’m a DIYer who inherited a partially finished, wrongly configured shed on my property and I used your video to make it right. Thanks!
Thanks man! You just earned a new Sub
Hi Brett new subscriber here I got an s trap in my laundry room inside where the discharge hose goes inside the standpipe are there any helpful tips to replace the pipe immediately I don't want gases coming inside my house I got niece's and nephews
Can you email me a picture of the current setup and I will email you a drawing of what I would suggest doing. brettleybuilt@gmail.com
How many GPM..
Its pretty small. I think about a gallon and a half per minute
Remarkable. Thank you so much
You did a great job simply and logically explaining things I didn’t know but wondered about. It’s been said that if you can take a complex subject and clearly and logically explain it to a novice, then you know what you’re talking about. We should pitch in and buy you some lighting! Thank you.
So you need to have one wire for each outlet even if you put them together or not right? So if you have 4 outlets you will need 4 cables right?
You start with a wire from the breaker in the panel box and run it to your first outlet. Then run a wire from that outlet to the next outlet, and so on. It is kind of like having "one wire" spliced wherever there is an outlet. You will need technically need four sections of wire.
Thank you
